Medical Micro Visuals

The story behind it is pretty simple. I wanted to see how far I could get by modelling these organic medical cells, neurons, virus etc without using dynamics tools from the beginning. As I missed some randomnes there I thought maybe modelling manually could be the right way.

The journey is not over, but here you can see one step. I used mainly ZBrush. Love! this tool. Each time I open this program I also have to set the timer because otherwise I would spent the whole day on it without noticing how long I'm allready worked. Wouldn't be that bad, but there's the thing called "client" :-)

After Zbrushing I brought the elements to Cinema4D applying some subsurface scattering within Octane Render. In two of them I used RealFlow. RealFlow is a very straight forward tool for fluid simulations and very fast. The finishing touches I made in Photoshop.

Hope you like it :-)
